We, in the Saudi Customs, are working to clear containers within 24 hours; and to make this happen we have developed Customs procedures in coordination with government and private authorities related to import, such as the following:
The focal point of the 24-hour clearing program is pre-submission through the establishment of a customs import declaration before the containers arrive at the customs port, enabling customs and government agencies related to customs clearance to complete the procedures before the goods arrive.
Upon arrival, the containers are transported directly from the ship to the X-ray inspection system and final clearance. Customs has assigned a customs group for this purpose
You can, directly or through a customs broker, upload and submit the data as soon as the necessary documents are available. They should be submitted no later than 48 hours prior to the arrival of the shipment through the Fasah platform at fasah.sa
The implementation of the program began at all ports of the Saudi customs: sea, land, and air.
You can track your shipment in the customs or before it arrives as soon as the customs declaration is generated, and get instant alerts through Fasah platform fasah.sa
Yes, the old method has been discontinued in all ports where the program has been implemented. Please note that failure to comply with the requirements of the 24 hours clearance program will consume more time, which may lead to additional charges (grounding fees).
