Statistical Declaration is a declaration document submitted to Customs Department by the Customs Brokers or Express Mail companies. Using this document, they submit informations regarding the goods to be imported / exported into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The information includes type of goods, the weight of the goods, exemptions applicable etc.
The Customs Department in-turn sends the Customs Brokers information like duties applicable, the fees payable etc. The Customs Department may approve or reject the Statistical Declaration at any stage. Only after the physical inspection of goods the Customs Department may approve the Statistical Declaration and subsequent clearance of goods.
